In search of something to do with the family this coming Bank
Holiday? Well look no further, South Woodham Ferrers gets
ready to come alive with SWFest.
After the success of last year’s event, SWFest returns for another
fun packed day, running from 12noon – 7pm in the new location
of William de Ferrers school playing field.
The event is Free Entry and created for the whole family with
entertainment and activities designed for all ages. From free
inflatables (for kids and adults), soft play and face painting, to
have-a-go sports, craft making, and animal petting area, there’s
something to keep every little and BIG child happy.
Providing the soundtrack to the day there is live music from
leading local talent including Blow, Will Daly’s Drum Group, Beau
Langdale, Josh Brough, Glastonbabies, Leanne Louise, Katy
Forkings, Johnny B Goode, and more.
And to keep you fuelled, there’s a selection of mouth-watering
food stalls including pizza, German sausage, Korean street food,
burgers, cupcakes, cookies, ice cream and plenty of vegan and
vegetarian options. Plus of course the all-important licensed bar.
Please note, the site has a strict no dog and no smoking policy.
