4 POS’TA RÖPORTAJ / INTERVİEW English Kontör yüklemenin en hızlı ve kolay yolu Kıbrısonline, Ingenico mobil POS’lar üzerinden kontör satışını hızlı ve kolay hale getirdi. Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’nin (KKTC) internete açılan kapısı olan Kıbrısonline, adada yaşayan tüketicilerin internet ile ilgili tüm ihtiyaçlarına cevap veren çözümlerle büyümeye devam ediyor. Hizmet yelpazesini yeni çözümlerle genişleten şirketin bu alandaki son yeniliği ise kontörlü cep telefonları kullananlara büyük kolaylık getiriyor. Kıbrısonline, mobil POS terminalleri ile elektronik kontör (e-kontör) satışı hizmeti vererek kontör yüklemek için gereken kart satın alma, şifre yükleme gibi işlemlere son veriyor. Ada genelinde 1.400’ü aşkın POS terminali ile e-kontör satışı gerçekleştiren şirket, ilerleyen dönemde bu terminalleri kullanarak tüketicilerine farklı uygulamalar sunmayı da hedefl iyor. Kıbrısonline, 2000 yılında internet servis sağlayıcısı olarak kuruldu ve halen bu alanda faaliyet gösteriyor. Bireysel ürünlerde; ADSL, Wi-Fi ve Dial Up internet hizmetleri sunuyoruz. Bunun yanı sıra web hosting, aynı anda birden fazla kullanıcının internete sorunsuz şekilde bağlanmasını sağlayan leased line hizmeti, şirketlerin ofisleri arasında ses, veri ve görüntü iletişimi kurabilmesini sağlayan VPN, sunucu barındırma gibi kurumsal hizmetler de sağlıyoruz. Son olarak, Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell iş ortağı olarak, POS üzerinden e-kontör satışının altyapı hizmetini sunmaya başladık. Şu anda Kıbrıs’ta hangi bölgelerde hizmet veriyorsunuz? KKTC genelinde oldukça geniş bir bayi ağına sahibiz. Lefkoşa, Gazimağusa, Girne, Güzelyurt, İskele olmak üzere adanın tüm bölgelerinde bayilerimiz bulunuyor İnternet satışı yapan 55 adet bayimizin yanı sıra e-kontör satışı yapmak için POS cihazı kurup, teknik destek verdiğimiz 1.372 adet satış noktamız bulunuyor. Gelişen iş hacmimizle birlikte bayii ağımız da gittikçe yükselen bir trend gösteriyor. Mobil POS’lar üzerinden kontör satışı yapma fikri nasıl gelişti? The fastest and easiest way to load prepaid minutes Kıbrısonline offers fast and easy prepaid sales enabled through Ingenico mobile POS terminals Kıbrısonline, who is the opening gate to internet of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC), continues to grow with solutions responding to the needs of consumers living on the island regarding the internet. The latest innovation of the company enlarging its service spectrum with new solutions provides a great ease for prepaid-mobile phone users. Kıbrısonline ends procedures like purchasing of cards and typing passwords so as to load prepaid minutes by providing sales service of electronic prepaid minutes (e-prepaid minutes) via mobile POS terminals. Over 1.400 companies providing the sales of e-prepaid minutes via POS terminals on the island plan to offer various applications by using these terminals in the forthcoming periods. Kıbrısonline’s Director Mr.Hasan Çerkez told about the details of the project exclusively to Ingenico POS. Can you tell us more about Kıbrısonline? Kıbrısonline was founded in 2000 as an internet service provider and is still having activities in that field. We are providing ADSL, Wi-Fi and Dial Up internet services as individual products. Besides we are also providing web hosting, leased line service enabling more than one thousand internet users to access to internet at the same time without any problem, VPN service enabling intraoffice voice, image and data communication and server hosting as corporate services. And recently we have started to provide the infrastructure service of e-prepaid minute sales over POS terminals as the business partner of Northern Cyprus Turkcell. In which regions are you providing service currently? We have a considerably wide service network in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. We have dealers all over the island mainly in Nicosia ( Lefkoşa), Famagusta (Gazimagosa), Kyrenie ( Girne), Morphou ( Güzelyurt), Trikomo ( İskele). Besides 55 dealers dealing with internet sales we have 1.372 sales points having POS device so as to make e-prepaid minutes sales, to which we also provide technical support. With our improving business volume our dealer network is also showing an increasing trend. How did the idea to make sales of prepaid minutes over POS come into mind? Buna karşılık elektronik ortamda kontör satışının nasıl gerçekleştirilebileceği ve avantajlarını belirleyerek, buradaki operatöre sunduk. Peki, e-kontör ne tür avantajlar sunuyor? POS cihazları üzerinden yapılan e-kontör satışında, miktar sınırlaması olmadan, istenilen tutarda kontör satın alınabiliyor. Böylece kullanıcı çok miktarda kontör yüklemek istediğinde birden fazla kart almak zorunda kalmıyor. Bunun yanı sıra işlem sonunda kontör GSM hattına otomatik olarak yükleniyor ve şifre kazıma, gönderme işlemlerinin ortadan kalkıyor. Bu avantajlar önemli ölçüde kullanım kolaylığı yaratıyor. Ayrıca tüketiciler, satış noktasında çeşitli kampanyalardan anında yararlanılabiliyor. Proje ne zaman hayata geçti? E-kontör satışı, sağladığı birçok avantajla Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell tarafından da kabul gördü ve Ekim 2007’de projemizi hayata geçirdik. Kıbrısonline olarak Kuzey Kıbrıs’ta, e-kontör satışının teknik alt yapısını, satış noktalarına POS kurulumunu ve teknik müşteri hizmetini sağlıyoruz. Bu proje kapsamında Ingenico ile bir işbirliğiniz var. Bu işbirliğinin detaylarını öğrenebilir miyiz? Ingenico, iletişime geçtiğimiz ilk günden itibaren, ihtiyaç ve beklentilerimizi çok iyi anlayıp, bize bu yönde çözümler sundu. Bu çözümlere, deneyimli bir ekibin sıcak yaklaşımı ve Ingenico markasının verdiği güven de eklenince Mayıs 2008’de işbirliğimiz başladı. Aradan geçen süreç boyunca sistemin teknik olarak sorunsuz işlemesi, tercihimizin ne kadar doğru olduğunun kanıtı diye düşünüyorum. Peki, sistem nasıl çalışıyor? POS terminalleri, içlerine takılan SIM kartlar aracılığıyla GPRS üzerinden bağlantı kuruyor. Terminallerin mobil olarak kullanılabilmesi için GPRS sistemiyle çalışmasını özellikle tercih ettik. POS terminaliyle eşleştirilen SIM kart üzerine, operatör tarafından kontör yüklemesi yapılıyor. Satış yapılacak tutar ve GSM numarası POS terminaline tuşlanıyor. Bu bilgiler terminalden Kıbrısonline Gateway server’ı aracılığıyla operatörün server’ına ulaşıp, işlem onayı alınıyor. Onaylanan tutara karşılık gelen kontör miktarı, otomatik olarak abonenin hattına yükleniyor. Kaç adet terminalde bu sistem üzerinden satış yapılıyor? Bu alandaki ilgiyi nasıl değerlendiriyorsunuz? Mayıs 2007’de test amaçlı olarak kullandığımız 40 adet terminalimiz vardı. Bugün terminal sayımız 1.400’lere ulaşmak üzere ve gittikce de artıyor. Sistemin hem operatöre hem satış noktalarına hem de müşterilere avantajları oldukça fazla… Bu nedenle beğeniyle karşılanıyor ve tercih ediliyor. English dynamic staff contributes a great advantage. Sales done with prepaid minute cards were creating several limitations both for the operator and the consumer. We have determined the advantages of the sales of prepaid minutes electronically and how it could be applied, and then presented to the operator here. So, what are the advantages of e-prepaid minutes? At the e-prepaid minute sales done over POS terminals the required amount of prepaid minutes can be purchased without any amount limitations. So the consumer is not obliged to purchase more than one card when he wishes to load a huge number of prepaid minutes. Besides, the prepaid minutes are automatically loaded to the GSM line at the end of the transaction and consequently procedures like engraving the password, sending the password etc are completely eliminated. These advantages create a crucial ease of use. In addition consumers can instantaneously make use of campaigns at the point of sales. When did to project come into life? The sale of e-prepaid minutes was also recognized by Northern Cyprus Turkcell and we effectuated our project in October 2007. As Kıbrısonline we are providing the infrastructure for the sales of e-prepaid minutes, the installation of POS terminals at sales points and technical customer service. Within the scope of this project you have cooperation with Ingenico. Can we learn the details of this cooperation? Since the first day we have got in contact, Ingenico has fully understood our needs and expectations, and offered solutions in that sense. When an intimate approach of an experienced team and the confidence given by Ingenico trade mark were added to these solutions our cooperation started in May 2008. Through the time passed, I think that the problem-free operation of the system technically proves how right our choice is. Well then, how the system operates? The POS terminals establish connection over GPRS via SIM cards plugged in. We have deliberately chosen to operate the terminals with GPRS system so that they could be used as mobile. Prepaid minute loading can be performed by the operator over the SIM card matched with the POS terminal. The amount of sale and the GSM number is typed on the POS terminal. This information is transmitted from the terminal to the operator’s server through Kıbrısonline Gateway Server and the transaction approval is required. The equivalent number of prepaid minutes for the approved amount is automatically loaded to the user’s line. How many terminals do you have for sales over this system? How do you evaluate the interest in this field? In May 2007 we had 40 terminals used for testing. Today the number of terminals we have is about the reach 1.400 and constantly keeps increasing. The system offer several advantages both for the operator and the point of sales… That’s why it receives such an interest and is preferred. 35
