District 9 (Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s Counties) continues to move forward after the loss of the
District President, Vice President and the Past President in less than 18 months. With the support
of MNA and our active membership all positions were filled. With the present leadership we have
grown from 118 members in 2017 the present membership of 167 as of July 2018.
Convention 2017 - District 9 supported the event by providing 2 door prizes and
participated in the Convention.
September 2017 Annual Business Meeting held at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home attracted new
and exciting new members who have been involved planning and supporting DNA 9 programs and
MNA. A Pizza supper was provided during the Open House and information sharing about MNA
District 9.
2018:
March MNA Leadership Day and Board of Directors Meeting was attended by Adrienne Jones and
Paula Luskus. Information gained on a win/win for the both MNA and DNA 9.
