March – Attended MNA Leadership day March 24, <strong>2018</strong>, followed by the MNA BODs mtg.; D.<br />
Downing-Corddry shared her experience as a volunteer at Paul’s Place <strong>Nurses</strong> Clinic in Baltimore’s<br />
Southwest neighborhood.<br />
April – S. Neel reported on the progress of Educational venue for May’s meeting. 1.0 Contact hour<br />
approval obtained.<br />
May – Attended the Anne Arundel <strong>Nurses</strong>’ Fair providing information about DNA 3 and MNA<br />
membership, J. Chang and D. Downing-Corddry donated baskets for raffles. Many members and<br />
friends enjoyed DNA 3 sponsored educational venue organized by S. Neel at Univ. of MD Baltimore<br />
Washington Medical Center: <strong>Nurses</strong>: Saints and Bullies, Presenter: Jamie Van Allen, MS, RN-BC.<br />
June – K. Novak provided her first of on going info session about the latest technology news called<br />
“Tech Talk.” Several attended the Work Place Violence Summit on June 28. Planning work begun<br />
on the DNA 3 <strong>Annual</strong> Business Meeting. A oversight in 2017 elections discovered and guidance<br />
obtained from MNA COB&P chairman, L. Steirle. In 2017 DNA 3 failed to hold election for a<br />
Secretary. Membership will receive a letter of explanation in July about the need to hold a “Special<br />
Election” in conjunction with DNA 3 General Elections.<br />
