ready to present
its products that
are prepared with
“mother’s hand” to
the British people.
After opening
branches in U.S.A.,
Saudi Arabia,
and Cyprus, the
company focuses
on growing in
Europe by opening
a branch in the
city of Leicester
in England. By
this means, the
Company will take
its first step on its
way to the target.
Göçmen Börekçisi, whose foundations
were laid in the township of
Körfez of the province of Kocaeli in a
50sqm shop fourteen years ago produces
its products today in its facilities
with a closed area of 3,500sqm
at a level of production of 7-8 tons.
Göçmen Börekçisi, which has reached
80 branches in the domestic market
aims at having a total number of 95
branches by the end of 2018, and the
company is continuing to be stronger
abroad, as well.
This will add taste to the famous 5
o’clock tea of the British people!
Göçmen Börekçisi is now turning its
short term growth target abroad to
Europe, and by signing a master franchise
agreement with the investors
in the United Kingdom the company
has taken the first step in this respect.
The famous 5 o’clock tea of the British
people will be now enriched with such
products of Göçmen as rolled pastry,
beurek with lamb meat, pasta with
cheese parsley filling.
Göçmen Börekçisi also exports its
hand made products to Saudi Arabia.
İlker Can Dönmez, Chairman of
the Board of Directors of Göçmen
Börekçisi said that they are happy to
present their traditional tastes to the
whole world, and added: “We have
signed a master franchise agreement
with the investors in the United Kingdom.
Our first shop will be opened on
Narborough Street in Leicester. We
aim at having more than 200 shops at
home and abroad within the next 5
years. As for our target in Europe we
are planning to open 20 shops within
three years in the United Kingdom”.
