Making painstaking efforts to bring the Turkish
Furniture industry to the level it deserves Ahmet
Güleç, Chairman of İstanbul Furniture, Paper and
Forestry Products Exporters’ Association brought together
the industry representatives and show exhibitors in 42nd
CIFF, 10-13 September 2018. Güleç said, “Representatives
of the Turkish furniture industry continue to make their
presence felt at CIFF 2018 and protect their places in
Chinese market.”

Güleç: “Chinese fair plays an important role in our
2023 export targets”
Speaking about CIFF, Ahmet Güleç said, “We grasped a
chance of bringing together with the industry professionals
in 42nd China International Furniture Fair (CIFF), which
attracts thousands of visitors from 200 different countries
and districts of the world. A lot of designs and models of
Turkish furniture were displayed to thousands of manufacturer,
wholesaler and importer companies. Turkish furniture
brands exhibited their potential in China by participating
with national participation committee. Turkey attracted
great attention with its national participation in hall 3 that
became a Turkish hall totaling 685 square meters area. As
representatives of the furniture industry we had an opportunity
to meet with new and major customers in addition
to reaching the Chinese market. So, Chinese fair plays an
important role in our 2023 export target and $3 billion year
– end target.”
