A ll ladies from Westfield village and the local area are<br />
very welcome to come and join us at our monthly meetings<br />
which are held on the second Friday of the month at 2.15 pm<br />
in the Parish Church Hall. For further details please ring our President. Val<br />
Walkinshaw on 07927 403200.<br />
A variety of extra activities are available such as craft and book clubs and a<br />
good social time is enjoyed.<br />
Recently members have visited Lullingstone villa and Castle and an outing for<br />
the less mobile was arranged which was a boat trip along the River Stour.<br />
Members have also enjoyed a summer lunch at the Moorings at Pevensey Bay.<br />
In October some members were off to see the Wizard of Oz.<br />
At the September meeting Melanie Gibson-Barton delivered another interesting<br />
talk entitled Three Women One Man about glamour, wealth and heartbreak - as<br />
it was a mystery talk we were sworn to secrecy about the names of the<br />
participants.<br />
In October members watched a DVD about rural life in Britain.<br />
As you can see from the report our programme is very varied so there should be<br />
something for everybody to enjoy, come and give us a try you will be made very<br />
welcome.<br />
