Committee. Sri. V M Das presented the monthly accounts<br />
to the members. It was approved after discussion. Sri Sanal<br />
explained to the members that the Karayogam is conducting<br />
pooja and bhajana on every Saturday during the mandala<br />
pooja period. He also informed that the Karayogam in<br />
co-ordination with Rotary Club, Jeevan Bhima Nagar<br />
conducted drawing and painting competition for children<br />
between 5 years and 15 years in HAL Telugu school to<br />
mark the occasion of Children’s Day. Karayogam will be<br />
conducting its 3rd Inter Karayogam Chess Tournament<br />
on 20th January (Sunday) at Malleshpalaya. It was<br />
earlier mentioned as 13th January. Please register<br />
immediately.<br />
Sri. B Jayaprakash briefed about the board matters to the<br />

The Executive Committee meeting of the Karayogam<br />
was held on 16th Dec <strong>2018</strong> at Karayogam President Sri.<br />
N Ramachandran Nair’s residence. Meeting started with<br />
prayer followed by Acharya Vandanam. House observed<br />
one minute silent prayer for the departed souls. President<br />
Shri. N Ramachandran Nair welcomed E C members and<br />
Karayogam observer Shri. Mohanachandran, President of<br />
Horamavu Karayogam. President appraised the house about<br />
the activities carried out by <strong>KNSS</strong> and Karayogam during<br />
last month. President requested E C members to do their<br />
best to increase the membership. Discussions were held<br />
about fund raising for the Karayogam activities. Karayogam<br />
observer Mr. Mohanachandran proposed Mr. Pradeep<br />
Shankar, transferred from Horamavu Karayogam to Jakkur<br />
Karayogam, for the post of Jt. Secretary and was approved.<br />
The EC approved the previous month minutes and accounts<br />
unanimously. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by<br />
Sri. Raman Unni, Vice president of the Karayogam<br />

for attending the children’s day celebration at our center.<br />
He congratulated the newly elected Board members for the<br />
term <strong>2018</strong>-20. Mr. Ramachandran Paleri who got elected<br />
for 6th term as Chairman was felicitated.<br />
Secretary, Sri P. Raveendran presented the minutes of<br />
the previous meeting and Treasurer, Sri. Mohan kumar<br />
presented the audited accounts for the month of November,<br />
<strong>2018</strong>, which were duly approved.<br />
Mr Parameswaran Pillai urged members to enrol new<br />

Benevolent Fund: Mr. M Rajagopal is elected as Vice<br />
President Benevolent Fund for the term <strong>2018</strong>-20.<br />
Samskarikavedi: Mr Krishnan Nambiar is elected as<br />
Convener, Samskarikavedi for the term <strong>2018</strong>-20<br />
Mahila Vibhag: Mrs Shobhana Ramadas, Secretary, Mahila<br />
Vibhag Jyothi was elected as Mahila Vibhag’s Board<br />
Representative for the term <strong>2018</strong>-20.<br />

Eye camp: A free eye camp and eye donation pledge<br />
was arranged by Narayana Netralaya in association<br />
with Jayamahal Youth Wing Kizora with the support<br />
of Karayogam and Mahila Vibhag Jyothi at the <strong>KNSS</strong><br />
Service Centre on 16.12.<strong>2018</strong>. A presentation on ‘cataract<br />
and eye donation’ was also given by Narayana Nethralaya<br />
. The facility was utilized by about 150 people including<br />
the residents in and around RT Nagar. After check up<br />
the patients were advised to visit the hospital for further<br />
testing and treatment as required. The Corporator Mr.<br />
Anand also visited the camp. Chairman, Mr Ramachandran<br />
Paleri inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp with<br />
