Discussions were held about the Eye Camp being organised<br />

by ‘Kizora’ on <strong>December</strong> 16, <strong>2018</strong>. The eye camp mainly<br />

to identify Cataract cases for surgical intervention is not<br />

just for Karayogam members but for the general public<br />

as well targeting the poor as the hospital has offered free<br />

cataract surgery by implanting intraocular lenses for all the<br />

poor. All other Karayogams were requested to send people<br />

for the eye camp. All those who are interested to pledge<br />

to donate their eyes can also visit the camp to register.<br />

It was proposed in the meeting to conduct a Swach<br />

Bharath programme sometime in January 2019. The final<br />

date and planning to be decided in the next meeting. The<br />

meeting concluded with vote of thanks.<br />

<strong>December</strong> Meeting: The monthly meeting for the month<br />

of <strong>December</strong> of the Youth Wing - Kizora was held on<br />

9/12/18. The main discussion point for the meeting was the<br />

eye camp being organised at the Jayamahal Service center<br />

on <strong>December</strong> 16th. The responsibilities for that day were<br />

discussed and charted out for the smooth conduct of the<br />

eye camp. Kizora also discussed about plans for 2019 for<br />

the Youth Wing.<br />

The first event planned for next year will be the Sport meet<br />

for Jayamahal Karayogam on January 20th. Registrations<br />

for the Sports meet will close on January 13th, 2019. The<br />

events planned for the sports meet are for all age groups.<br />

The next event is the mega event, an Inter Karayogam quiz<br />

contest - “Brain O Mania “ to be conducted on February 10th,<br />

2019 at the Jayamahal Karayogam office. Each Karayogam<br />

can register two teams of two participants each. To register<br />

“Varnotsav”<br />

It is ever so beautiful to be diffrent ... To do things differently<br />

than others in this age.... To see things in a rare light....<br />

Elements Mall was buzzing with lot of enthusiastic<br />

artists on 23rd, 24th November and 2nd <strong>December</strong> <strong>2018</strong>.<br />

“Varnotsav”, a cultural fest filled with extravagant colors<br />

was organized by team’ Lakshya’ in association with <strong>KNSS</strong><br />

Kothanur Karayogam. The program was inaugurated by our<br />

beloved <strong>KNSS</strong> Chairman Mr Ramachandran Paleri, <strong>KNSS</strong><br />

Board representatives - Mr K.V Gopalakrishnan, Mr.K.V.<br />

Narayanan, <strong>KNSS</strong> Kothanur President Mr Radhakrishnan<br />

, Lakshya President Brijith G Nair , Lakshya Mentor<br />

Mr Arunlal, Judges Mr Prujeeth and Mr Lajeesh. This<br />

extravaganza was a baby step towards making the world a<br />

wonderful place to live in with love and fun!!!<br />

The fun filled program encouraged artists from all over<br />

Bangalore to showcase their talents in the field of music,<br />

dance, MAD-Adds, Spot Choreography and street battle. The<br />

program was judged by eminent judges in the respective field<br />

s, for music – Mr Lajeesh and Mr Prujeeth , for Beat Boxing<br />

– Mr Thanush , for Dance - Ms Pooja , Mr Kiran , Mr Junaid<br />

sheriff and Mrs Nimmy Narasimha and Mad ads – Mr Saud<br />

and Mr Ruben. We thank them for the support given to us.<br />

The program was a grand success because of the wonderful<br />

support and encouragement by our kind sponsors Col<br />

Sasi Kumar, Mr Arunlal , Mr Anoop from Bisado,Mrs<br />

Beena Radhakrishnan, Mrs Thangam Joshi, and Sulfex<br />

Mattress. We thank them from the bottom of our heart for<br />

the wonderful support! The program would not have been<br />

possible without the support of <strong>KNSS</strong> Kothanur Karayogam<br />

President Mr Radhakrishnan, Secretary Mr Chandrasekhara<br />

Panikar, Mr Arunlal, Sakhi President Mrs Girija Sasikumar,<br />

and Secretary Mrs Priya Arunlal. And, of course, the hard<br />

work put in by the team ‘Lakshya’ and the wonderful<br />

artists and the supportive audience. Hardwork always<br />

pays..... Greatness is earned, never awarded...<br />

MATHIKERE<br />

A session was conducted by Smt. Sindhu Satish on “College<br />

to Corporate Ready & “Corporate Etiquettes” under the<br />

auspices of Youth Wing Jwala who gave a clear outlook of<br />

the corporate world and how to survive & outshine there. The<br />

session began on a positive note with a brief introduction<br />

of the participants, followed by the importance of creating<br />

a good impression and finally a few tips to enhance our<br />

personality for a bright future. The session was filled with<br />

fun activities and also enlightened the participants with a<br />

practical approach required for the development of a person<br />

inside out.<br />

MS NAGAR<br />

Yuva monthly meeting was held on 25th of November<br />

<strong>2018</strong>. The meeting started with an invocation by Heera<br />

Unnikrishnan. . The Yuva Secretary Sri.Vishnu Suresh<br />

welcomed the gathering and read out the minutes of the<br />

previous meeting. He also gave special acknowledgement<br />

to Yuva for their efforts during Children’s day program.<br />
