KNSS Karayogam News BANASHANKARI On Saturday, December 10, 2018, the Karayogam conducted its 288th monthly meeting at its office premises, Vyoma (ISRO layout). The meeting commenced with a prayer by Shri. A.Govindan Nair and recital of Aacharya Smarana by all members. Sri MKS Nair, the President of the Karayogam, presided over the meeting. In his welcome address, Shri. M.K.S. Nair formally welcomed the members present in the meeting. He reminded the members for investing in MMECT Building Fund and for taking shares in the Mannam Credit Co-op Society. Mahila Vibhag “Nivedyam” conducted the Children’s Day Programme on 18th November 2018 at our Karayogam Office premises and was attended by children from our members’ families. The function was inaugurated by Shri. M.K.S. Nair and the Mahila Vibhag President Smt. Sathi Giridharan. Children participated in various activities like Painting, Singing etc and the winners were given prizes. Karayogam appreciated the efforts of the “Mahila Vibhag Team” and also the support of Shri Rajkumar B Nair for conducting this programme. Shri. Govindan Nair read out the minutes of previous meeting, Shri. Ananthakrishnan presented the accounts. Shri. Dilip Kumar Pillai briefed the meeting about the Board activities. Shri Rajesh suggested the members to have an exclusive help line for Banashankari Karayogam and all members agreed. Shri. Sunil K Menon, Secretary of the Karayogam invited the member’s attention for purchasing of an own office building for the Karayogam and members appreciated his initiative. He also requested EC members to come out with new ideas and welfare programmes that can help the Karayogam members and families. Meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Shri. Sunil K Menon followed by singing of National Anthem by all members BIDRAHALLI After the inauguration ceremony of Bidrahalli Karayogam on 11th November, many more enrolled in our newly formed Karayogam as lifetime members. Our Karayogam President Smt.Subhadhra Devi attended the inaugural ceremony of 41th KNSS Karayogam Abbigere Shettihalli and conveyed our wishes and blessings to the new Karayogam. Bidrahalli Karayogam nominated Karayogam executive committee member Sri Sujith Nambiar ,a Kalaripayattu practitioner and specialist to KNSS Samskarika Vedi committee. 18 of our members were enrolled to KNSS Benevolent fund this month and targeting to enroll a total of 25 members by next month. Karayogam members have planned to celebrate Thiruvathira on December 23rd evening as the first Karayogam event . Karayogam executive committee members are working hard to enroll new members from Bidrahalli and surrounding areas. Any Nair families residing in and around Bidrahalli are requested to contact Bidrahalli Karayogam office bearers for enrollment. CHANDAPURA Kannada Rajyotsava and Kerala Piravi Dinam: Karayogam celebrated the Kannada Rajyotsava and Kerala Piravi Dinam on November 1st 2018. The flag hoisting was done by President Sri. K. Kesavan Kutty. Sweets were distributed. The Executive committee meeting of the Karayogam was held on 11th November, 2018 at Karayogam Office. Meeting, presided by Karayogam President Sri.Kesavan Kutty, started with Prayer and Acharya Smarana. Secretary Sri.Prasanna Kumaran read out the minutes and the same was approved by the committee. More than 20 children were awarded for various sports and cultural activities. Prizes were distributed by our President Sri. K.Kesavan kutty. We conducted Bhajana at Karayogam office on 15th December 2018 at 6.30pm. The Executive committee meeting of the Karayogam was held on 16th December, 2018 at Karayogam Office.
