New Office Bearers of MMECT
Nominated Members to MMECT from Karayogams and Exofficio
members met on 15.12.2018 at MMET School. Following
Office Bearers were selected for the Term 2018 – 2020 by
the Trustees.

Trust Meeting:Monthly Trust Meeting was held on17.11.2018at
MMET School, presided over by Mr. O.V.P Nambiar. The
following decisions were taken during the meeting:-
1. Installation of a submersible pump with accessories and
take temporary electricity connection for the newly drilled
borewell at the new premises opposite to MMET School.
2 Procurement of a new sound system for the Silver Jubilee
Auditorium.of the School
3. Payment of Karayogams share to KNSS Dooravaninagar
Karayogam for the current academic year admissions.
MMET School Annual Sports Day:Annual Sports Day 2018-19
was celebrated in the School premises on 24.11.2018. Mrs.
Joicy, Primary H.M welcomed the gathering. The celebration
started with invocation song followed by hoisting of School
Flag and Torch bearing ceremony by the Chief Guest Mr. K.V.
Gopalakrishnan, Joint General Secretary KNSS. He addressed
the gathering and received salute from the School Houses March
Past Contingents. The March past was led by the School Band
Team accompanied by the four Houses namely Hoysalas(Red
House), Kadambas (Yellow House), Gangas (Green House)
and Rashtrakutas (Blue House).Mr.O.V.P.Nambiar, President
MMECT, and Mr. Radhakrishnan.G.Nair, Secretary MMECT
addressed the gathering. Trustees, School Principal, Manager,
High School HM, Primary HM, Staff Members and Students

participated in the function. Colourful variety entertainment
Programmes, Pyramid and physical displays were presented
by the Pre-Primary, Primary and High School Students. All
these programmes were appreciated by the Chief Guest
and dignitaries. Championship trophies were presented to
Red House (Hoysalas) for Primary. For High School section,
the championship rolling trophy was awarded to Red House
(Hoysalas). Prizes and Certificates for various sports and
games competitions were distributed to the winning Students,
Teachers and Staff. Individual Championship for 2018-19 in
High School Section was bagged by Jayanth. D of X ‘B’ and
Kum. Bhargavi. N of X ‘A’, both from Red House. In Primary
section, Chanthuru.S of V ‘A’ from Yellow House and Kum.
Lavanya. V of VII‘A’ from Red House hasbagged individual
championship Trophies. Mrs.P.Shakila Rani, School Principal
presented vote of thanks and the Annual Sports Day 2018
concluded with National Anthem.
MMET School Picnic/Study Tours:- The students
of MMET School went on the following Study Tours during the
month of December 2018:-
1. A one day study tour for I Std to IV Std students on
06.12.2018 to Bannergatta Biological & Butterfly Park and
on 01.12.2018 for V Std to VII Std students to Talakadu,
Barachukki Falls and Somanathapuram.
2. A three day sight-seeing and educational trip was conducted
for the Students from VIII Std to X Std to Chikkamagaluru
and surrounding places from 6th Dec to 9th Dec 2018.
