Executive Committee Meeting - Dec <strong>2018</strong>: The Executive<br />
Committee meeting of Karayogam was conducted at 3.30<br />
pm on Sunday 9th <strong>December</strong> <strong>2018</strong> at House#24, Rainbow<br />
Retreat, Halanayakana Hally, Sarjapura Road, Bangalore<br />
- 560035.<br />
The EC meeting was presided over by the President Sri.<br />
Bhaskaran Nair which started with prayer and Acharya<br />
Smarana. President welcomed all the EC members of<br />
Karayogam to the meeting. Secretary Sri.Jayasankar<br />
presented the minutes of the Executive Committee meeting<br />
held on 4th Nov <strong>2018</strong> and was approved by EC.<br />
New Memberships: Following membership applications<br />
were approved by EC.<br />
Sri.Unni Krishnan S, Sri. Pyarilal S S, Sri. Sreenivas Nair,<br />
Sri. C A Moncy, Sri. Sanjay Krishnan,<br />
Sri. Jaya Kumar T . Membership transfer request of Sri.<br />
Vinod Kumar.K.H was approved by EC for transfer to<br />
Indiranagar since that Karayogam is closer to his residence<br />
The concern expressed by EC members and other members<br />
regarding non publication of Karayogam news in November<br />
18 issue of <strong>News</strong> Bulletin was discussed and will be taken<br />
up with the editorial board and other authorities.<br />
EC had detailed discussions regarding Kudumba Sangamam<br />
- <strong>2018</strong>. Roles & responsibilities and other detailed activities<br />
were planned. Secretary conveyed special thanks to all EC &<br />
Sarayu members and also to Sri.Revi Vasudevan & family<br />
for hosting the meeting and doing all necessary arrangements<br />
including refreshments. Meeting concluded at 7pm with<br />
National Anthem.<br />
Kudumba Sangamam - <strong>2018</strong> -<br />
Sarjapura Karayogam conducted Kudumba Sangamam<br />
- <strong>2018</strong> on Sunday 16th Dec <strong>2018</strong>. Nearly 450 family<br />
members attended this event and was a grant succes. <strong>KNSS</strong><br />
director board members, Karayogam representatives from<br />
Jayanagar, Jayamahal, Viveknagar, Bellary and Kothanoor<br />
were present for the meeting. Program started at 9am with<br />
Vishnu Sahasranamam by Mahila Vibhag. Several cultural<br />
programmes were presented by family members. Chenda<br />
Melam by Madhu Marar & party of Madiwala Ayyappa<br />
Temple and Thiruvathira by Mahila Vibhag made the event<br />
very colourful.<br />
Public meeting was presided over by President Sri.<br />
Bhaskaran Nair. Meeting was inaugurated by <strong>KNSS</strong><br />
Chairman Ramachandra Paleri. <strong>KNSS</strong> General Secretary<br />

Vibhag Core Committee Convenor and Board Member<br />
Smt. Rajalakshmi, Mahila Vibhag Board Representative<br />

Bhaskaran Nair and former President Sri.Devraj Menon<br />
addressed the gathering. All <strong>KNSS</strong> office bearers and<br />
Mahila Core Committee members present in the meeting<br />
were honored with «Ponnada» by the Karayogam & Mahila<br />
Vibhag Executive Committee. Sri.Raghav Pothuval, former<br />
Vice President of the Karayogam was honored by <strong>KNSS</strong><br />
Chairman and Karayogam President during the meeting for<br />
his services to <strong>KNSS</strong> and Sarjapura Karayogam. Adithya<br />
Anoop, S/o Sri. Anoop Kumar, Nikhil Jith Sachi, S/o Sri.<br />
Sajeev Kumar, Theertha Rajeev, D/o Sri.Rajeev Kumar,<br />
Vignesh K Kumar, S/o Sri. Krishna Kumar were honored for<br />
their academic excellence during the meeting. Smt. Sreeja<br />
Vijayan, Smt.Rajalakshmi, Smt.Sandra and Smt.Ambili<br />
were honored for their contributions for successfully running<br />
our Malayalam classes. Secretary Sri. Jayasankar proposed<br />
vote of thanks to everyone who contributed immensely to<br />
this event.<br />
Public meeting was followed by Sadhya and Music Concert<br />
by Tharang. The concert was a feast for more than 3 hrs<br />
for all the music lovers. All the singers of Tharang were<br />
honored by the Karayogam Executive Committee and the<br />
program ended at 6pm.<br />
