Mahila Vibhag
From the Core Committee
With the onset of Mandala Kalam, Ayyappa Bhajans and
poojas were conducted across the Karayogams and Mahila
Vibhags.
Congratulations to Bommanahalli and Sarjapura Karayogams
and their Mahila Vibhags for successful conduct of their
AGTs. Both were well organized events. Similarly,
the medical camp in association with Manipal Hospital
conducted by Malleswaram Karayogam and mahila vibhag
was a grand success. An Eye check up camp by Narayana
Nethralaya was organised by Jayamahal Youth Wing
‘Kizora’ at Karayogam Service Centre ably supported by
the Mahila Vibhag Jyothi and Karayogam. We appreciate
the spirit behind these philanthropic activities in which
Mahila Vibhags were spontaneously taking part actively.
Congratulations to Yelahanka Mahila Vibhag “Tarangini”,
MS Nagar Mahila Vibhag “Janani” and Chandapura Mahila
Vibhag “Dasami” for successful conduct of Ayyappa Pooja
at their centres. Two new Karayogams at Shettihali and
Mandya were inaugurated during the month. We wish them
all success in their future endeavours.
Request all Mahila Members to organize Thiruvathira
celebrations and observe Mannam Jayanthi at their
respective centres. All best wishes to MS Nagar Karyogam
for successful conduct of their AGT in Jan 2019.

BANASHANKARI
The 116th monthly meeting of Mahila Vibhagam
“Nivedyam”, was held at 5pm on 9th December 2018 in
Karayogam office. Meeting started with prayer by Smt.
Jayashree and Acharya Vandanam. President Smt. Sathi
Giridharan presided over the meeting, she welcomed all
members present and read the minutes of the previous
meeting held on Nov. 11th 2018. She also thanked all
members for making the Children’s day programme a grand
success. Smt. Pushpa Govind presented the accounts.
Members discussed about having a potluck programme in
first week of January 2019 and also conduct a free dental
camp in 3rd week of January 2018. The meeting ended with
vote of thanks and refreshments by Smt. Pushpa Govind.
Condolences: Two minutes silent prayer was observed in
memory of Dr. Sridevi Das, 67 yrs, who departed us on
16th November 2018.
