New Year, New Karayogams,<br />
New Committees........<br />
The calendar year <strong>2018</strong> is giving way to the New Year<br />
2019. Coincidently, the <strong>KNSS</strong> <strong>News</strong> Bulletin is entering<br />
yet another volume. Volume 9 is coming to a close with<br />
this <strong>December</strong> issue and from January 2019 issue, the<br />
next volume will commence –vol 10, issue 1. <strong>KNSS</strong> <strong>News</strong><br />
Bulletin wish all a ‘Happy New Year 2019’, and extend<br />
sincere thanks for all the support and encouragement.<br />
It was dream-cum-true for <strong>KNSS</strong> to have seen the<br />
inauguration of 4 more Karayogmas during the year <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
Jakkur, Bidrahalli, Mandya, Abhigere ranked from 38 th to<br />
41 st Karayogams of <strong>KNSS</strong> respectively. The year <strong>2018</strong> also<br />
saw major decisions by <strong>KNSS</strong> and MMECT to acquire<br />
more infrastructures in land and building, as also on the<br />
development programme in Thoranahalli. It all proves how<br />
potential we are and demonstrate our confidence in <strong>KNSS</strong>.<br />
The participation of members in pouring in finance by way<br />
of deposits to the tune of 1.6 crores to MMECT was amazing<br />
and exhalting. Now we know the level of our unity and<br />
strength and nothing can stop <strong>KNSS</strong> in its path of progress.<br />
Let us all continue our excellent participation in days to<br />
come and realise all that we have conceived and planned in<br />
<strong>2018</strong>. The new committees of MMECT, Benevolent fund,<br />
Samskarika Vedi, Mahila Vibhag, Youth wing etc will set<br />
their eyes firmly on their objectives. <strong>News</strong> bulletin wish all<br />
the best to the new teams.<br />
The New Year ushers in with the birth day of our<br />
Samudayacharya Sri. Mannath Padmanabhan on 2 nd January.<br />
Republic day celebration is on 26th and 157th birth day<br />
of Swamy Vivekananda falls on 27 th January. Also we<br />
have ‘Makara Vilakku’ on 14 th January. The month is of<br />
celebrations and let us make the best use of these celebrations<br />
to promote and observe our ‘heritages’ and customs.<br />

National Youthday, Makara Vilakku celebrations and<br />
Republic day celebrations.<br />
