How accurately they could measure such a small angle as θ would determine how close<br />

they got to the correct wavelength. <strong>The</strong>y probably had no problem getting to a<br />

resolution of a third of a degree or even finer given the accuracy with which they could<br />

align huge pyramids. <strong>The</strong>y probably used a telescopic device or magnifying lens Eye of<br />

Horus to view the angle.<br />

By measuring light speed and electromagnetic wavelengths in the visible spectrum the<br />

Egyptians were already tiptoeing into the realm of quantum mechanics that was not<br />

rediscovered until the early 20th century by Planck, Einstein and their colleagues.<br />

<strong>The</strong> formula discovered by Einstein for the transmission of energy via photons is<br />

E = h ν, where h is Planck's constant and ν is the frequency of the photon radiation.<br />

<strong>The</strong> relation of h to its reduced form is h = 2 π ħ. We express the frequency of a<br />

monochromatic beam of light in terms of the wavelength λ by the relation ν = c / λ. <strong>The</strong><br />

formula for the energy carried by sodium light be<strong>com</strong>es:<br />

E = h c / λNa.<br />

Planck's reduced constant has the ratio of 1.054, and light speed is 3e8 m/s. Both<br />

numbers appear on the Senet Oracle Board. <strong>The</strong> wavelength for sodium is 5.89e-7<br />

meters. We plug these values into our equation, and calculate.<br />

<strong>The</strong> eV stands for 1 electron volt, a standard unit used by physicists for measuring mass,<br />

energy, and charge. <strong>The</strong> SI unit for the electron volt is the joule, and it measures an<br />

amount of energy. A single electron volt is 1.602e-19 J, which is one quantum unit of<br />

elementary electric charge times 1 volt and represents the kinetic energy gained by an<br />

electron passing through a potential difference of 1 volt. If the energy is at 1 eV, the<br />

corresponding wavelength is down in the infrared region and is not visible. So the<br />

because that is easily visible and is the light given off by their sacred natron when it<br />

burns. "Neter" means divine in Egyptian and is preserved in the word natron and the<br />

chemical abbreviation Na. This value is the diameter of the apex flash of the obelisk<br />

(2×1.054 = 2.108) and 2/3 of the scaling constant (3×1.054 = 3.162), which is clearly<br />

marked as the scaling line proceeds diagonally from heaven to earth across the nine<br />

vertical columns of the Ennead. <strong>The</strong> value 2.108 eV falls within the sodium line at the<br />

5.88e-7 m to 5.89e-7 m wavelength. <strong>The</strong> circumference of the apex flash gives us the<br />

value of the non-reduced Planck constant:<br />
