What did you offer to your
customers and visitors as an
innovation at IMOB?
We are a new company as Cassaba
Bed. Our company is mainly
exporting to overseas; we are
currently sending products to 12
countries. Our products are above
the quality standards.
Are you satisfied with the
performance of the fair? Can
you comment on IMOB 2019
in terms of domestic and
foreign visitors?
Overall we were satisfied. Until
now, the local customers did not
see much of the fair. Foreign visitors
showed more interest than
domestic visitors. The fair met our
expectations.
Are there domestic and
foreign fairs that you plan to
attend in the remaining 11
months of 2019?
In the coming months, there is
Izmir Fair on 7-11 March. Then we
intend to open up to Europe.
Would you like to comment on the
situation in Turkey compared to
Europe in terms of both the management
of the sector and Turkish
furniture industry’s present situation
as well as trade fairs, associations,
unions and federations.

Turkey is not at a favorable position
in this regard. As companies
who know the value of the fairs,
we are leading on this issue. We
live in a country with a population
of 80 million. I just think we
shouldn’t limit our interest only
with Istanbul. There should be 1
or 2 fairs per year. Thus, we may
increase our chances to export
more. In this case, our state can
provide help and support.
What do you recommend
about this, what should be
done?
Our government can support us
on diesel costs. We cannot see any
support if we wait for everything
from associations or fair companies.
As a result, they are ultimately
professional organizations.

Genel olarak memnun kaldık. Şu
ana kadar fuarda, yerli müşteri çok
fazla göremedik. Yabancı ziyaretçiler
yerli ziyaretçilerden daha fazla
