Dance Committee <strong>Report</strong><br />
The Dance committee is responsible for Friday Afternoon Dances which occur about every two<br />
months with themes related to the time of year, such as Hallowe’en, Christmas and Valentine’s<br />
Day.<br />
No report was submitted and there were no meeting minutes available for <strong>rev</strong>iew.<br />
Special Events <strong>Report</strong><br />
The Special Events committee is responsible for special events including the Give From the<br />
Heart Food Drive, The Day Before, the Mayor’s Mental Health Symposium, and the 100-Year-<br />
Old Club.<br />

Food Services Advisory Committee <strong>Report</strong><br />
Jocelynn Derosches (Chair), Inger Tonkin, Tom Gordon, Mike Rooke, Mary Henderson, Jean<br />
Hillman<br />
The Evergreen Seniors Community Centre has a dining facility, which is open for breakfast and<br />
lunch between the hours of 9am-1pm Monday through Friday. The dining room, or restaurant as<br />
we know it around the Centre, is managed by Chef Jocelynn Deroches and operated fully by<br />
volunteers - which is quite amazing considering the quantity of quality food that is moved<br />
through the kitchen to our tables.<br />
The Food Services Advisory Committee meets at least four times per year to discuss all things<br />
food at the Evergreen Restaurant. What is working well? What needs some updating?<br />
The Committee strives to ensure guests are enjoying quality, nutritious meals with friends in a<br />
welcoming environment and at an affordable price.<br />
Thank you to all of the volunteers who continue to make the Evergreen dining experience one<br />
that is filled with smiling faces, great service, lots of laughs and delicious food.<br />
