At present <strong>IBS</strong> has over 49000 alumni spread across<br />
the world – a network that expands steadily with each<br />
graduating class. <strong>IBS</strong> alumni are leaders in a broad<br />
range of organizations including entrepreneurial<br />
companies, established firms, government and Nonprofit<br />
organizations. They serve in a wide spectrum<br />
of industries, including consulting, financial services,<br />
venture capital, technology, manufacturing, retail and<br />
consumer products. Their success in the corporate<br />
arena is an eloquent testimony to their skills, abilities<br />
and hard work, as well as to the quality and rigor of<br />
business education at <strong>IBS</strong>. The <strong>IBS</strong> Alumni Federation<br />
(<strong>IBS</strong>AF) aims to help the alumni stay in touch with<br />
their alma-mater and other <strong>IBS</strong>-ians wherever they<br />
are in the world.<br />
<strong>IBS</strong>AF is a non-profit society, established in 1997<br />
to provide an active institutional framework<br />
for professional development, interaction and<br />
networking for the <strong>IBS</strong> alumni. This is facilitated<br />
through various events and forums involving both<br />
the alumni and <strong>IBS</strong> students. It also assists alumni in<br />
lateral career movement and career development.<br />
Alumni actively participate in the developmental<br />
activities of <strong>IBS</strong> and are also inducted into the<br />
governance structures at various levels.<br />
<strong>IBS</strong>AF connects with its alumni through chapters at<br />
the local level and online through the website (www.<br />

<strong>IBS</strong>AF promotes lifelong bonding among the <strong>IBS</strong><br />
alumni and with them aims to take <strong>IBS</strong> amongst the<br />
