year we have traded in milkmaids<br />
for prairie girls with much more<br />
conservative necklines. Seek<br />
out tiers of fabric with printed<br />
dresses, midi-skirts, blouses and<br />
prairie dresses. Go for pieces<br />
with generous folds of fabric<br />
around the sleeves, cuffs, neck or<br />
with tiers through the garment.<br />
This trend is best worn in sheer<br />
textiles. Reach for soft colours<br />
such as cream, lavender, light<br />
pink and baby blue.<br />
Whether they create big<br />
volume or a subtle feature, frills<br />
are a delicate detailing that can<br />
add a touch of vintage romance<br />
