COLOUR ME CRAZY<br />
A hard pill to swallow for southern<br />
fashionistas, but it’s time to break out of<br />
black and embrace another season of<br />
colour. Consider a boldly coloured lip or<br />
even a dash of colour on the eye. When<br />
you do, remember, it will be important<br />
you fix any bright shades in place – so<br />
don’t skimp on the primers and consider a<br />
setting spray if you fear your makeup will<br />
make a run for it. It’s much harder to carry<br />
off streaks of wandering purple or orange.<br />

SMUDGE IT OR JUST<br />
WING IT<br />
The smudge is back. The ‘80s<br />
trend returns, knocking out the<br />
sharp liner look with one that’s<br />
more smoky – and so much easier<br />
to apply. Take one long-wear liner,<br />
apply, then smudge with a brush<br />
to ensure it’s less crisp and much<br />
softer. No steady hands necessary<br />
and slip-ups blended away with a<br />
