CROUCH VALLEY U3A<br />
MONTHLY MEETING<br />
The monthly meeting for September will take place on<br />
Tuesday 24th September in the Multi-Purpose Room at<br />
Champions Manor Hall, Hullbridge Road. 2pm<br />
If you are recently retired, or been left on your own and want<br />
to meet new friends and get active then this is the best place<br />
to start. Why not come to our next meeting?<br />
Crouch Valley U3A is based in South Woodham Ferrers and<br />
exists to provide a range of challenging, learning & enjoyable<br />
activities for retired and semi-retired people in our town. Our<br />
meetings are friendly and informal and are normally held on<br />
the afternoon of the fourth Tuesday of each month.<br />
If you would like to participate in one of our groups, then<br />
come along to our meeting to meet our coordinators who will<br />
tell you all about the activities available. We will be<br />
showcasing one or two groups each month. This month the<br />
group leader of the Water Colour Group will be available to<br />
chat. Why not give us a visit, we may have just what you are<br />
looking for.<br />
Visitors to our meetings are made very welcome and we are<br />
also happy to welcome new members into our U3A. On your<br />
first visit to us you will be accompanied by one of our mentors,<br />
who will explain the meeting agenda and answer any<br />
questions you may have. We have over 18 thriving interest<br />
groups. Something for everyone to get involved in. you will<br />
be able to speak to the group coordinates that interests you.<br />

l Walking or Strollers<br />
l Garden Group, visit to local venues.<br />
l Jazz appreciation.<br />
l Week Enders. For those who are busy week days<br />
l Wine appreciation. 2 groups<br />
l Bird watching & Wildlife and much more.<br />

The speaker at this month’s meeting will be Dr Michael Tubbs<br />
who will be telling us about the famous art forger Tom<br />
Keating.<br />
