2019 yılında gerçekleştirdiği 20,6 milyar dolarlık ihracat ile
tarihi bir rekora imza atan kimya sektörü, geçtiğimiz yılın
en çok ihracat yapan ikinci sektörü oldu. İhracatta artan
performansı ile dikkatleri üzerine çeken kimya sektörü,
2019 yılında 3 milyar dolar üzerinde ihracat yapan sektörler
arasında yüzde 18,54’lük büyüme ile Türkiye’nin ihracatta en
fazla büyüyen sektörü olmayı başardı.
With a great record of 20.6 billion US dollars exports in 2019,
the chemical sector was the second most export sector last
year. Drawing the attention with the increased performance
in exports, exporting over $ 3 billion in 2019, the chemical
sector succeeded to be the most growing sector in export
among the sectors in Turkey with more than 18,54 percent
growth.
The chemical sector, which is one of the leading sectors in
the industry which exports to the most countries among
all sectors, came first in this field with its exports to 208
countries and regions in November. Exports of the sector
in 2019 amounted to 26 million 539 thousand tons with an
increase of 35.83 percent. Spain, one of the countries where
the chemical sector exports the most, is in the first place with
1 billion 62 million dollars of exports, the Netherlands is the
second with 1 billion 32 million dollars of exports and Iraq is
the third with 1 billion 12 million dollars of exports.
Tüm sektörler arasında en fazla ülkeye ihracat yapan
lokomotif sektör olarak da bir adım öne çıkan kimya sektörü,
Kasım ayında 208 ülke ve bölgeye yaptığı ihracatla bu alanda
birinci oldu. Sektörün 2019 yılı miktar bazında ihracatı ise
yüzde 35,83 artışla 26 milyon 539 Bin ton olarak gerçekleşti.
Kimya sektörün en çok ihracat gerçekleştirdiği ülkelerden
İspanya, 1 milyar 62 milyon dolar ihracat ile ilk sırada yer
alırken, Hollanda 1 milyar 32 milyon dolar ihracat ile ikinci,
Irak ise 1 milyar 12 milyon dolarlık ihracatla üçüncü sırada
yer aldı.
Türkiye’nin ekonomisine ve ihracatına büyük katkı sağlayan
kimya sektörü adına, 2019 yılını değerlendirmek ve gelecek
dönem hedeflerini paylaşmak amacıyla İKMİB tarafından
düzenlenen basın toplantısı, İstanbul Kimyevi Maddeler ve
Mamulleri İhracatçıları Birliği (İKMİB) Yönetim Kurulu
Başkanı Adil Pelister, İstanbul Maden ve Metaller İhracatçı
Birlikleri (İMMİB) Genel Sekreteri Dr. S. Armağan Vurdu
ve İMMİB Genel Sekreter Yardımcısı Coşkun Kırlıoğlu’nun
katılımıyla gerçekleştirildi.

General Secretary at IMMIB attended the event on behalf of
the chemical industry, which provides a major contribution to
Turkey’s economy and exports, to evaluate the 2019 and future
periods during a press conference organized by IKMIB to share
their goals.
