I am a lover of many styles and genres, but prior to my visit to<br />

the Holmes Hotel in London, you many well have found that I<br />

would turn my nose up at the thought of a themed hotel. But<br />

this delightful retreat, just steps away from Baker Street station,<br />

has entirely changed my mind.<br />

Indeed, it’s no mystery why this hotel is proving popular with<br />

a myriad of guests - from those looking to delight in the many<br />

nods to this eponymous deceptive to others just looking for a<br />

stylish city bolt-hole.<br />

Travellers of both the seasoned and novice variety will uncover<br />

countless little luxuries waiting for them in the bedrooms. From<br />

cosy hideaways for two to luxurious duplex Loft suites, the<br />

rooms at Holmes Hotel perfectly straddle classic architecture<br />

and plush, modern interiors. Rooms feel like luxurious<br />

sanctuaries away from the bustle of the Marylebone high street<br />

and Baker Street station - only steps away. It's tempting not<br />

to leave, especially with so many amenities, like the fabulous<br />

nineteenth-century style gym, in the building.<br />

Should you decide to dine in, the Kitchen at Holmes offers a<br />

warm, buzzing atmosphere and delicious seasonally-inspired<br />

cuisine with inspirations from all over the world. Led by Head<br />

Chef Stefano Motta, this sought after all-day dining destination<br />

epitomises an exciting blend of cultures that is unique to<br />

London. We loved the mezze small plates - perfect for sharing.<br />

The standout star dish was lighter-than-light ravioli, lavished in<br />

butter, garlic and rich heady slices of black truffle.<br />

Whether you are a curious mind with a penchant for intrigue or<br />

a world-weary traveller in need of somewhere sumptuous to rest<br />

your head, your perfect room mystery is solved...<br />
