BI-FOLD:
PROS - for those looking for that wonderful sense of
a garden room that brings the outside in, bi-folds can
help create the sense of one open-plan space as the
panels fold away fully to the walls.
CONS - an expensive option - poorly constructed bifolds
can also suffer from air-tightness issues around
the joins so do your research and get guarantees.
SLIDING:
PROS - generally cheaper than bi-fold doors, sliding
doors also have fewer frame elements, meaning when
they are closed your view is less obstructed.
CONS - you won’t get the full, uninterrupted view of
the garden - instead only a portion of the doors are
openable.
