Some perfect boutique breaks and
weekend getaways
VAUSE AT SEA,
WALMER, COASTAL KENT
There, on your doorstep, the sand and the sea. Yours to enjoy
from every corner in this luxury pad where nothing is too
much for your comfort. Holidays surely don’t come more
blissful than this.
The clue comes of course in the name, but as you walk up to
your holiday home you didn’t expect the sands and the sea
to be quite this close. You are literally at sea. And it’ll be the
ocean tides and the ever-shifting sea views that accompany you
throughout your stay.
But as well as the sea on your doorstep, this modern pad is all
about the luxury touches. The list runs very, very long but to
give you a taster, think Sonos sound systems in every room,
Lutron touchpad lighting, Amtico floors (heated throughout),
electronic blinds, wine cooler, Bosch coffee machine… Oh, and
the cinema room with 75” screen.
The sea and the sky dominate the view through the giant
picture windows in the elegant living room. Step onto the deck
for fresh sea air and a little something you chilled earlier as
you sit back on the comfy rattan. Everyone at the long dining
table has sea views, also enjoyed from the stylish kitchen
with all the mod cons you’d expect integrated into sleek grey
cabinets under white countertops.
Upstairs lie five generously sized bedrooms, all with king-size
beds for truly regal sleep as you listen to the waves. Most have
en suite shower rooms. Be first up to the top floor to bag the
family suite where the dormer windows cleverly convert to Juliet
balconies for even better views of the sea beyond.
Go downstairs to see your favourite film or a spot of table
tennis. Step outside for your BBQ and garden (with a sound
system of course). Or to the beach and then to Kingsdown with
three good pubs. Walk or cycle just a little bit further to the
delights of the pretty town of Deal before you return to your
very own retreat by the sea.
Vause at Sea sleeps 10 in five spacious bedrooms, all with kingsize
beds and several with sea views. There are six bathrooms
(5 shower rooms and 1 family bath) plus a handy ground floor
cloakroom.
