Silent Pool Gin was created just five years ago, but in<br />
that short time it has gained a reputation as one of the finest<br />
handcrafted gins in the world.<br />
The Silent Pool Gin Expressions series, new and available<br />
this spring, is a range of limited edition gins that are the first<br />
variations on Silent Pool Gin since its original launch. Each<br />
one of these unique blends amplifies one of the gin’s key<br />
botanicals to create a new and delicious spirit. The iconic<br />
Silent Pool Gin teal glass bottle with its signature botanical<br />
design is enhanced with copper ribbons to denote each<br />
flavour.<br />
The first in the series is Silent Pool Rose Expression Gin and,<br />
as befits a rose gin, it will be available just in time to celebrate<br />
the romance of Valentine’s Day and summer weddings, as<br />
well as being an ideal treat for Mothering Sunday and special<br />
occasions. Look out for the teal bottle with the pink ribbon!<br />
Rose Expression shares the Silent Pool Gin DNA in terms of<br />
its complexity and refreshingly individual character, however<br />
the core recipe has been refined to compliment<br />
and enhance the more forward floral notes.<br />
Its beautiful rosy essence is imparted during<br />
distillation thanks to a unique tea infusion<br />
of rose petals sourced from Devon. These<br />
flavours are underpinned by the Silent Pool<br />
Gin recipe but some of the original botanicals<br />
that give the classic gin its delightful flavour<br />
- pear, bergamot, cubeb and cardamom -<br />
have been amplified to compliment the rose.<br />
Meanwhile, fresh lemon peel replaces fresh orange and lime<br />
peel to perfect the blend of flavours. The result is a London<br />
Dry gin that has a distinctive yet delicate rose flavour.<br />
The recommended Silent Pool Rose Expression Gin serve is<br />
simple yet delicious: in a Copa glass, pour a single or double<br />
measure over ice, add Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic and<br />
garnish with a sweet slice of fresh pear.<br />
