Fireworks: Despite the abysmal weather, the

Penn & Tylers Green Sports & Social club

firework event went ahead as usual.

The firework display was excellent supported

by the fantastic music from Freddie Mercury

and his band queen. As always the BBQ

provided tasty hot food, and the hot drink girls,

provided not only tea and coffee, but mulled

wine and the Speciality of hot chocolate with

baileys, which is always a favourite on the

night. After the heavy rain during the day, the

young children seemed to be having much fun

in the mud and puddles.

We hope despite the lower attendance we will

still have raised some money for this years

charity, taxi charity for military veterans, who

give up there time to drive veterans to the

seaside and battlefields of Europe, a appropriate

charity for remembrance weekend.

two groups playing during the evening,

including the popular local band the Black
