There’s Still EntertainmentBy: Evan Davis / Entertainment EditorI’m sure we’ve all been climbing the wallsthe last few months, and I hope by the timethis reaches you, we will be out of quarantine andheaded back to some form of normalcy.Since our May shows have been cancelled, I am now working onbringing back the quality of entertainment you expect from The VegasVoice. Whether I can put together two shows a month or 2 shows aweek, they will be very exciting and entertaining.I want to support the local entertainers and get them back to work byputting on as many shows as possible. We all have to show our supportby going to as many shows and events as we can.There has been and will continue to be performers that will beentertaining us on Facebook, YouTube and other venues. Please checkthem out and let them know we’re all ready to bring Vegas back to thegood old days - like January 2020.Bring back the lounge acts, free parking and no resort fees. In twoshort months, Las Vegas, the country and the world, has come to ascreeching halt.The saying “What Happens Here Only Happens Here” has not beenthe case. We will come back stronger than ever, and The Vegas Voice willat the forefront with all the local entertainment.Let me give you just a few names of artists who are performingbasically for free or are asking for small donations to help certaincharities: Frankie Scinta, Craig Canter, Nieve Malandra, JonathanKarrant, Amanda King, Doug Taylor, Jennifer Romas, ChadwickJohnson, John DiDomenico, Jamie Hosmer, Ryan Baker, KevinGardener Rose, Sally Olson, Ned Mills, The Sharps-David Marinelli,Charles McNeal, Tony Felicetta, Joey Melotti, Drew Anthony, ChaseBrown.
