44DAY 21Today“choose this day whom you will serve”JOSHUA 24:15We are so close! We just have one more week after today. I don’t knowabout you, but it has been absolutely amazing to see God working in andthrough each prayer, each day. If you have stories to share, I would love tohear about them. I have heard so many so far, and it has blown my mind,and encouraged my heart to see how God is moving in ways that I don’tthink any of us expected.Our word for today, is TODAY. So often, we find ourselves caught up inthe regret of the past, or the anticipation of the future, that we lose sight ofthe excitement and purpose of today. I was reading a story one day abouta gentlemen who made the statement that the same God he worshipedthat day, was the same God that George Mueller worshipped and prayedto when he was alive. Now, if you aren’t sure who George Mueller is, hislife is def worth a ready. God did amazing work through him. I will giveyou the very abbreviated version. He cared for over 10,000 orphans in hislife time, started over 117 different Christian schools and educated over120,000 students, all without asking for money from anyone. He simplyprayed, and prayed, and prayed and believed and trusted God to answerhis prayers.You see, the problem with history is, when we take a look at it, we assumethat all that God did then, He can’t or won’t do today. I believe when wedo that, we miss out on God doing something amazing. The same Godwho worked miracles in the life of George Mueller is the same God who

The Bible tell us in Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus is thesame yesterday, today, and forever more. Remember that truth TODAY,and don’t get so caught up in what happened in the past, and what mighthappen in the future.So, the challenge for today. Let’s spend some time with the Lord. Restingin Him, trusting in Him, and knowing that He is in control. Then, spenda few minutes thanking God for what He did in the past, and for what Hewill do in the future. And then ask Him to open your eyes to what Hewants to do in and through you today. Focus on that, and let’s watch Himdo something amazing!
