active lifestyle

Keeping fit with a healthy and active lifestyle at home

Staying at home during an extended school suspension can be a difficult time both

physically and mentally. Below, a few of our students reflect on how they have kept

active during the school suspension during long periods indoors, and avoided any

temptation to become a couch potato!

During the period off school, I did

stretches, and workouts which

included planks and crunches for an

hour after online lessons to keep

myself healthy and fit.

During the stricter social distancing period,

the sport I did the most was playing

basketball. This is because I have a lot of

fun when playing basketball with my friends.

Moreover, I can have fun while I am

exercising and keeping my body fit which is

important during times like these.

Royce Yip 7B

During this period, I made sure to busy myself with activities so I did not forget what I

have learnt post- COVID 19. This also helped force me out of my bed so I would not

waste away in bed. This is good for my mental health as it allows me to think and

make sure I exercise the most important part of your body - your brain.
