During this pandemic, our class 6C decided to
do a project where we lip-synced to the song
“We’re All in This Together” from High School
Musical. We chose lines to lip sync and
individually filmed our lines into clips, then we
filmed ourselves dancing and doing activities
like reading books and doing sports during
quarantine.
We chose the song “We’re All in This Together”
as it was used in the final scene of the movie
High School Musical, where the entire cast
sings this song, which is about how they all
have to come together as one, just like how
“We’re All in This Together” during this
pandemic.
In this pandemic, even though we were
physically apart from each other, we felt like we
were all in this together. Thanks to our amazing
form tutor, Ms. Tanaka, we could connect with
each other through this spectacular project.
Over the course of this, we had many online
meetings and practices, through which we got
to see some of our classmates' talents that we
had no chance to see in school, proving the
fact that, like the song says, “Everyone is
special in their own way” (and, like our school
says, “Every child is good at something”). This
activity successfully brought us together as a
class and made 6C closer, providing some
laughter and leaving a joyful memory in this
pandemic.
