z/TPF offline loader
JCL statements
This section describes how to call the z/TPF offline loader by using:
v “JCL statements”
v The “Linux offldr command” on page 119
v The “Linux labeltape command” on page 121.
The following topics also are included:
v “Return codes” on page 121
v “Comment conventions” on page 123.
Use the TPFLDR program in your job control language (JCL) to call the z/TPF
offline loader on your z/OS system. Your JCL code must reflect your environment,
standards, and naming conventions. For more information about JCL, see “JCL for
sending your output” on page 157.
The EXEC statement of your JCL must conform to the following syntax:
►►
►
PGM=TPFLDR
USER: userparms
,PARM='ALDR,TRACE(OFF)'
ALDR ,TRACE(OFF)
,PARM=' '
OLDR ,TRACE(ON)
TLDR
ALDR
information about the general file loader.
OLDR
information about the E-type loader.
TLDR
performs an offline TLDR load. See “Image loader” on page 113 for more
information about the image loader.
TRACE(OFF)
TRACE(ON)
performs the load while performing a trace function that can help with
debugging the loader. If you specify this option, you must specify the
LDRTRACE DD statement in your JCL.
USER: userparms
