z/TPF offline loader input file control statements
@APPLICATION
The z/TPF offline loader can be run on z/OS (using the TPFLDR program) or Linux
(using the OFFLDR program). The offline load is directed by a loader input file,
which consists of a series of control statements. The offline loader supports three
types of offline loads. For more information about each type of load, including a
summary of which control statements apply to which load, see the following:
v “General file loader” on page 111
v “Image loader” on page 113
v “E-type loader” on page 115.
Use a combination of the following control statements to create your loader input
file:
v “@APPLICATION”
v “@CIMR” on page 128
v “@CTKX” on page 132
v “@DEFINE” on page 134
v “@FILE” on page 139
v “@GFKEYPOINT” on page 142
v “@INCLUDE” on page 145
v “@IPL” on page 145
v “@KEYPOINT” on page 148
v “@LOADSET” on page 151
v “@VERIFY” on page 153.
You can use control statements more than once in a loader input file.
Note: When loading a program, the specified file and path names in the loader
input file are case sensitive. When patching a program, however, the case is
ignored.
Use the @APPLICATION control statement to specify the real-time programs that
you want to load to the z/TPF system. If an older version of a particular program
was previously specified in the loader input file, that version will be replaced by the
new version.
The following figure shows the syntax for the @APPLICATION control statement
section of the loader input file. In this figure, the double arrowhead (►►) indicates
that the information must begin on a new line.
