(tpf/imfdes.h). This standard header consists of a section that is managed by<br />
common deployment and another section that is managed by the function-unique<br />
processing program.<br />
v Cycle to NORM state processing.<br />
The function-unique processing program is called when the system is cycled to<br />
NORM state to handle tasks that cannot be done during z/<strong>TPF</strong> restart or 1052<br />
state. For example, if the deployment descriptor requires a socket to be started,<br />
function-unique processing starts the socket during cycle to NORM state<br />
processing.<br />
v Clean-up processing.<br />
The function-unique processing program is called when a previous version of a<br />
deployment descriptor must be removed. For example, when a deployment<br />
descriptor is loaded, activated, and accepted with the E-type loader, the previous<br />
version must be removed and the in-memory structure in system heap must be<br />
returned to the system.
