SICA table for PI 1.1.1 The team therefore decided to give a SICA consequence score of 3 (which is converted to an MSC equivalent score of 60, but not used further in the assessment, Table 5), thus triggering further evaluation of Principle 1 using <strong>Product</strong>ivity-Susceptibility Analysis (PSA). This represents a relatively precautionary measure of the risk to the sea bass stock in the North Sea from fishing activities. 9.2.3 PSA There are four steps for the MSC PSA. 1. Score productivity attributes 2. Score susceptibility attributes 3. Calculate risk scores and plot individual species onto a PSA plot. 4. Convert PSA scores into MSC scores and feed back into default assessment tree. The calculations of the scores under steps 3 and 4 have been carried out using the Excel workbook entitled PSA for MSC.xls which accompanies the FAM v2. This Excel workbook automatically generates PSA scores and the PSA plot when attribute scores are completed for the species. The PSA productivity and susceptibility attributes can be found in Table B4.2 and B4.3 of the FAM. PSA step 1. Score productivity attributes.
