more powerful and memorable for

gamers. I find that each collection

of soundtracks for the worlds you

visit during the series are perfectly

matched and if any other soundtrack

in the franchise was used for a

particular world it just wouldn’t fit

and feel out of place. The same goes

for the soundtracks surrounding

particular characters such as Sora,

Kairi, Roxas and Naminé. These

soundtracks also perfectly match

the characters within the series,

highlighting through the song the

type of character they are and how

each soundtrack, in a way, reveals

the journey each character will go on

throughout the series. When it comes

to appreciating what music has to

offer for games, then the Kingdom

how music in games can completely

transform them from something

good to something amazing.

time and attention that went into the

soundtrack for this game. Even the

soundtrack playing in the background

whilst you are swinging around New

Well, I think the answer is simple.

Soundtracks in gaming have the

power to transform a game into

something that is much more

immersive, emotional, and generally

much more fun to play. Soundtracks

in gaming, in my opinion, are just as

important as everything else found

in a game and feel it needs to be

appreciated more.

This game also highlights just how

music can transform a good game

into a great one. Before you even

start the game itself, the music at the

start screen immediately gets you

excited to play the game because

as soon as you hear it you think of

Spider-Man. On top of this, it is so

powerful and moving that it sounds

like it would belong in any Spider-

Man or Marvel movie let alone within

this game; indicating just how much
