COLLECTORS EDITIONS
Maybe your friend doesn’t read
a whole lot of books, but has one
particular book that they adore, and
constantly re-read. Why not consider
getting them a beautiful collectors
edition of the book to add to their
collection? Collectors editions often
have additional content, and even
special physical features such as
embossing, ribbon bookmarks, or
sprayed edges! They look stunning
on bookshelves, too, and are extra
great presents if your friend or family
member considers themselves a
collector, not just a reader!

REPLICAS
This idea is super cool if you are
looking for a gift inspired by a fantasy
book or series. A lot of sellers again
on Etsy specialise in making prop
and costume replicas from different
books, such as replicas of the One
Ring from Lord of the Rings, the
Mortal Cup from the Shadowhunter
universe; I even have a replica of Bag
End from the Hobbit! It’s hard to put
a price range on this, as it could be
something small like the One Ring, or
a £200 replica of the Sword of Godric
Gryffindor, so it’s best to have a look
around yourself here!
BOOKMARKS
It sounds obvious, but you’d be
surprised how many people just use
receipts and sticky notes amongst
other random things as bookmarks
because they’re always losing theirs.
However, metal book marks are
becoming really popular, and often
have beautiful patterns inscribed on
them, as well as a tassel at the top to
show your place more clearly. This
gift is especially good if you’re on a

BOOK EARRINGS
One of my favourite gifts that I ever
received are two sets of earrings
made from upcycled book pages! One
reads “Magnus” and the other reads
“Warlock”, an ode to my favourite
character from the Shadowhunter
universe. These are easier found for
popular YA series characters, but
are awesome for adding a subtle
booklover vibe to any outfit! A lot of
Etsy sellers (can you tell I love Etsy?!)
also make earrings that look like book
stacks out of clay, which are super
sweet! They come in so many colours
and designs, so they go well with any
outfit. As they are usually quite dainty
too, they aren’t too heavy to wear
on a casual day. Jewellery is such a
special gift, especially if it’s designed
with something someone loves in
