the Tow Show!
Following the official announcement from the Government
with reference to the full easing of current lockdown
restrictions by June 2021.
This was obviously fantastic news and very well received in
allowing us all a return to much better times, and also provides
us with the opportunity to now start planning ahead fully for the
show to take place later this year.
Hosted once again at the T.I.C, the show will take place on
Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th September 2021, with buildup
and Business Seminar the day before on Tuesday 28th.
Our discussions with the venue around the planning for
the show are ongoing, and we will carry regular updates in
the magazine and the show website providing relevant visitor
information with paramount importance given to the following;
Application of the All Secure Standard to ensure best
practice is offered to all our visitors, exhibitors, sponsors and
stakeholders attending the T.I.C for the event.
This Standard has been created via a collaboration involving
the main trade bodies within the event industry who have
advised the Government to produce the official Covid-19
secure guidelines for re-opening events safely.
The Department for culture, media and sport are currently
planning a series of pilot events taking place in April 2021
that will include the exhibition and trade show sectors. As
soon as the results of these test events have been shared
we will update our best practice guidelines in accordance for
everybody who will be attending the Tow Show.
As usual we will be engaging the services of our own external
health and safety consultant (Tony Wood) from C-All Business
Services, and will also be taking guidance from the Events
Safety Advisory Group at Telford and Wrekin Council.
The team here at the Tow Show HQ is really looking
forward to welcoming everyone from the wider
vehicle recovery community back to Telford for
the number # 1 industry trade event given Towby
