Glamorous Diplomatic Council Gala 2018<br />
<strong>International</strong> dignitaries from diplomacy, business<br />
and society got together in the time-honored<br />
halls of the prestigious Frankfurt Grandhotel<br />
Hessischer Hof for the glamorous Diplomatic<br />
Council Gala 2018. This year`s gala served as the<br />
global meeting point, not only for the European,<br />
but also for the valued members traveling from the<br />
USA and Asia. <strong>The</strong> Grandhotel Hessischer Hof itself<br />
joined the Diplomatic Council four years ago<br />
as a member and has ever since hosted the DC gala<br />
providing the ideal setting for a fabulous and magnificent<br />
celebration.<br />
For the first time, the Diplomatic Council is delighted<br />
to welcome a German Ambassador, namely<br />
H.E. Ambassador Dr. Heinrich Kreft, to the Diplomatic<br />
Council Board of Presidents. <strong>The</strong> newly appointed<br />
president delivered a speech on how diplomacy<br />
and business interact for the benefit of the<br />
community and society. He was much applauded<br />
for his belief that the world needs economic diplomacy<br />
and praised the Diplomatic Council for doing<br />
exactly this.<br />
this year`s gala, he gave a short and sweet speech<br />
thanking the Diplomatic Council and its members<br />
for the warm welcome to the organization. As a<br />
thank you, Sascha`s company TwentyFourSeven<br />
Cosmetics sponsored a farewell bag with exclusive<br />
cosmetics for all participants.<br />
<strong>The</strong> solemn inauguration of DC Business Consul,<br />
Mme Claude Piel, marked another highlight. In her<br />
speech, Claude Piel talked about her experiences<br />
as an international journalist. Her work has led her<br />
to many horrible places in the world where she<br />
has witnessed poverty, misery, abuse and crimes<br />
so she has decided to dedicate her time, her resources<br />
and all her energy to promote peace and<br />
On the occasion of his inauguration at the prestigious<br />
Vienna reception back in September 2017,<br />
DC Business Ambassador Sascha Zilger delivered<br />
