Irene Forte Skincare is founded by Irene<br />
Forte, beauty entrepreneur and wellness<br />
director of the Rocco Forte Hotels group.<br />
Passionate about wellness and leading a<br />
healthy lifestyle, Irene is a fresh voice in the<br />
wellness and spa industry.<br />
Her family originates from Italy and she has<br />
spent a lot of time there since a very young<br />
age. She first stepped foot in Sicily in 2003<br />
to visit the site that would soon become<br />
Rocco Forte’s Verdura Resort. Six years<br />
later, the resort opened its doors and Irene<br />
spent almost a year working there. She fell<br />
in love with the people, the culture, the food<br />
and the breath-taking nature of the island.<br />
Irene realised that Sicily’s rich ingredients<br />
and the bounty of Verdura’s organic farm<br />
made for the perfect base for a skincare<br />
line. Inspired by Sicily’s authenticity and<br />
beautiful nature, she knew she wanted to<br />
create a nutritious skincare line that was<br />
sustainable in its entire life cycle. She was<br />
also influenced by Sicilian handicrafts,<br />
wanting to ensure that her products were<br />
hand-manufactured and that her treatments<br />
focussed on the power of touch.<br />
Irene has worked closely with Dr. Francesca<br />
Ferri of EffegiLab and her team of biologists<br />
and dermatologists in Trento, Italy. After<br />
three years in development, she has launched<br />
a range of highly advanced formulas, using<br />
the finest Mediterranean and organic<br />
ingredients. Irene Forte Skincare is a<br />
multi-benefit, natural and sustainable<br />
skincare brand, inspired by Sicily and<br />
handmade in Italy. It is the Mediterranean<br />
diet for your skin.<br />

grown on the organic farm at Rocco Forte<br />
Hotels’ Verdura Resort – organic olive<br />
oil, nuts, plants, herbs, fruits and flora –<br />

Sicily’s mountainous Madonie Regional<br />
Natural Park. With recyclable glass, <strong>10</strong>0%<br />
recycled paper, vegetable and soya based<br />
inks, Irene Forte Skincare is sustainable in<br />
