Ebru Kaya Çetin continues: “We wanted to make a
difference while aiming to add value to our country
and the health of our people with our local production
process that we started in Gönen. We were inspired by
the needlework craft, which is the value of the region we
produce, produced locally and based entirely on women’s
labor. In the stakeholder communication process, we used
the needle laces of more than 100 women within the
Gönen Women’s Cooperative. Thanks to our contribution to
women’s labor, we are happy to see that the Cooperative
received the highest rate of purchase order in its history.
We will also mediate the delivery of this craft to women
all over Turkey through online “needlework” training to be
organized within the scope of the project”.

başladığımız yerel üretim sürecimizle ülkemize ve
insanlarımızın sağlığına değer katmayı hedeflerken bir de
fark yaratmak istedik. Üretim yaptığımız bölgenin değeri
olan, yerel olarak üretilen ve tamamen kadın emeğine
dayanan iğne oyası zanaatinden ilham aldık. Süreçteki
paydaş iletişiminde Gönen Kadın Kooperatifi bünyesindeki
100’den fazla oya ustası kadının el emekleriyle yaptıkları
oya işlerini kullandık. Katkılarımız sayesinde, kooperatifin
tarihindeki en yüksek adette sipariş almasını sağlamak
bize mutluluk verdi. Proje kapsamında düzenlenecek online
“iğne oyası” eğitimleriyle de bu zanaatın Türkiye’nin dört bir
köşesindeki kadınlara ulaştırılmasına aracılık edeceğiz.”
