Two cities, one passion The international choral world will celebrate the 11th edition of the world's largest international choir competition in fall 2021 - with the health, wellbeing and safety of all participants and visitors as a top-priority! Antwerp and Ghent are the main hosts for the World Choir Games 2021 and promise top-class venues, fantastic choir concerts and unforgettable experiences! With three official languages and a wealth of local dialects, Belgium is a great crossroad of cultures and thus a perfect host for the largest international choir competition in the world. The international participants will be warmly welcomed and immediately feel at home when bringing their music and cultures to Flanders in fall 2021.

Adjudicators And Clinicians<br />

Xander Tillon (Belgium)<br />

· Studied choral conducting and harmony at the Conservatoire of Leuven<br />

· Specialized in arranging, composing and conducting of choral pop, musical and<br />

show choirs with already more than 300 vocal pop arrangements, ranging from close<br />

harmony to vocal percussion, a capella and band-sheets<br />

· Founder and conductor of “Showkoor AMUSE” with whom he did big collaborations<br />

with Belgian artists like Jef Neve, Helmut Lotti, The Lighthouse and others<br />

· Frequently invited vocal coach for professional musicals and other productions<br />

· Currently Musical Director of “Studio 100”. This includes conducting and preparing the<br />

Studio100-choir for international live shows, being musical director and conductor of<br />

big spectacle musicals, making vocal arrangements for big TV-shows<br />

Hans van den Brand (The Netherlands)<br />

· Artistic Director and Conductor of “Fontys Jazz <strong>Choir</strong>”, winner of the Jazz Category at<br />

the 9 th <strong>World</strong> <strong>Choir</strong> <strong>Games</strong> in Sochi 2016<br />

· Academic teacher of ensemble conducting at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and<br />

Fontys Academy of Music and Performing Arts Tilburg<br />

· Recognized adjudicator, clinician, coach and arranger in the choral world of pop and<br />

jazz<br />

· Has developed a new extended technique during her doctoral research, ISFV ® Inhaling<br />

Singing, with its new notation for composers<br />

· Premiered more than 300 works and received international rewards and did recordings<br />

for many different labels<br />
