Two cities, one passion The international choral world will celebrate the 11th edition of the world's largest international choir competition in fall 2021 - with the health, wellbeing and safety of all participants and visitors as a top-priority! Antwerp and Ghent are the main hosts for the World Choir Games 2021 and promise top-class venues, fantastic choir concerts and unforgettable experiences! With three official languages and a wealth of local dialects, Belgium is a great crossroad of cultures and thus a perfect host for the largest international choir competition in the world. The international participants will be warmly welcomed and immediately feel at home when bringing their music and cultures to Flanders in fall 2021.

Singing outside the box<br />
In order to blossom, our voice needs us to feel completely free,<br />
and completely alive. But many times, our preconceived idea<br />
of what a “beautiful voice” should sound like prevents us from<br />
singing with freedom, and stops the flow of energy in our system.<br />
In this workshop we will happily forget, for a time, our usual goals<br />
of pitch, beauty, harmony, style...<br />
Through warm-ups and games, we will experiment other ways of<br />
singing, allowing all sounds to come, even (especially) those who<br />
are “outside the box”.<br />
We will end the workshop by learning and singing together a<br />
song, in order to experiment our new vocal sensations.<br />
Perhaps, if we‘re lucky, we will observe that through freedom and<br />
spontaneity, pure beauty may arise.<br />
