With three official languages and a wealth of local dialects, Belgium is a great crossroad of cultures and thus a perfect host for the largest international choir competition in the world. <strong>World</strong> <strong>Choir</strong> Council General Conference<br />
The <strong>World</strong> <strong>Choir</strong> Council General Conference <strong>2021</strong> will be held as a hybrid event on<br />
November 3 rd <strong>2021</strong>, both live in <strong>Flanders</strong> and online. The General Conference is traditionally<br />
set biannually during the <strong>World</strong> <strong>Choir</strong> <strong>Games</strong>, due to the special condition around the<br />
globe, it has been 3 year since the last time.<br />
The topics of the General Conference are focused on the challenge the choral community<br />
faces in the future and how we will manage to break them through by working together. The<br />
members of the <strong>World</strong> <strong>Choir</strong> Council will combine broad experience and fresh motivations<br />
to bring light and hope, at the same time, provide down-to earth solutions and strategies.<br />

“Greetings to <strong>Flanders</strong>” Special Show<br />
Since the global breakout of the COVID since 2020, INTERKULTUR and the <strong>World</strong> <strong>Choir</strong><br />
Council has been releasing series of international “Choral Community Recovery” Initiatives,<br />
aiming to unite the choral community and overcome the challenge. As a sequel of the<br />
successful “Hello Council” and “Conductor’s Talk”, a special show called “Greetings to<br />
<strong>Flanders</strong>” has been staged by INTERKULTUR and the <strong>World</strong> <strong>Choir</strong> <strong>Games</strong> together with<br />
choral experts and choirs from all over the world. This will be released during the <strong>World</strong><br />
<strong>Choir</strong> <strong>Games</strong> in <strong>Flanders</strong>.<br />
