Feel every note - the conscious way to create music<br />
Mindfulness and consciousness have been on the rise for<br />
decades, meditation and living in the moment, being present<br />
and feeling alive. In music making everything happens in the<br />
moment, yet we often sing or play pieces of music for the 100 th<br />
time and they sound the same. Our thoughts are not present,<br />
but wandering some place else, our everyday life struggles, our<br />
dreams, our memories from the last time we performed this or<br />
any other piece of music.<br />
So let us take an hour together and practice conscious music<br />
making with some easy techniques.<br />
Beatbox Beginners<br />
Beatboxing begins by learning basic rhythm and breathing<br />
techniques that allow for a seamless transition into vocal<br />
percussion. Participants in this workshop will be taught<br />
fundamental vocal percussion sounds such as the kick drum,<br />
hi hat, rim shot, snare drum and crash cymbals. You will leave<br />
with practice patterns to take home and the necessary tools to<br />
perform live. Beatbox Beginners is for everybody fascinated by<br />
the art of vocal percussion: this is your chance to get started!<br />
