In 2021, Abdi İbrahim launched a social investment
program focusing on four subjects: “Health and Sports”,
“Social Innovation”, “Science Awareness Raising among
Youth” and “Volunteer Projects for Social Needs”. Abdi
İbrahim, which started the “Healing Ideas Competition”
to support projects that will provide social innovation in
the field of health and medicine in the name of “Social
Innovation”, announced the socioeconomic impact report
it conducted this year, which reveals the contribution of
the company to the Turkish pharmaceutical industry and
the country’s economy. Simultaneously with the report
titled “The Socio-economic Impact of Abdi İbrahim, the
Healing Power of the Changing World, Abdi İbrahim, in
Turkey” prepared by Deloitte and covering the company’s
activities in Turkey in 2020, the 5th Sustainability Report
covering the period 2019-2020, titled “Improvement
Journey from the Past to the Future” was also shared.
“We continue to improve society”
Speaking about the awards received from the Golden
Pulse Awards, which evaluates the successful works in the
pharmaceutical industry, Abdi İbrahim Public Relations
and Corporate Communications Director Oğuzcan
Bülbül, said, “We have been continuing to improve the
society with our R&D and social responsibility projects for
110 years, within the scope of our mission of “improving
life”. These awards we have received encourage us to
continue our research, innovation and communication
activities with more passion and responsibility. We are
happy for the awards we have received on behalf of both
Abdi İbrahim and Turkish medicine.”
“Gençlerde Bilim Farkındalığı Yaratma” ile “Toplumsal
İhtiyaçlar İçin Gönüllülük Projeleri” olmak üzere dört
konuya odaklanan toplumsal yatırım programını hayata
geçirdi. “Sosyal İnovasyon” adına sağlık ve ilaç alanında
sosyal inovasyon sağlayacak projelere destek sağlamak
için ‘İyileştiren Fikirler Yarışması’nı başlatan Abdi
İbrahim, bu yıl içinde gerçekleştirdiği ve şirketin Türk
ilaç sektörü ile ülke ekonomisine katkısını ortaya koyan
sosyoekonomik etki raporunu açıkladı.
Deloitte tarafından hazırlanan ve şirketin 2020 yılı Türkiye
faaliyetlerini kapsayan “Değişen Dünyanın İyileştiren
Gücü Abdi İbrahim’in Türkiye’deki Sosyo-ekonomik Etkisi”
isimli rapor ile eşzamanlı olarak, “Geçmişten Geleceğe
İyileştirme Yolculuğu” başlıklı 2019 -2020 dönemini
kapsayan 5. Sürdürülebilirlik Raporu’nu da paylaştı.
“Toplumu iyileştirmeye devam ediyoruz”
Abdi İbrahim Kamu İlişkileri ve Kurumsal İletişim
Direktörü Oğuzcan Bülbül, ilaç sektöründeki başarılı
çalışmaları değerlendiren Golden Pulse Awards’tan alınan
ödüller hakkında şunları söyledi: “Hayatı iyileştirme”
misyonu kapsamında 110 yıldır, yaptığımız Ar-Ge ve sosyal
sorumluluk projelerimizle toplumu iyileştirmeye devam
ediyoruz. Almış olduğumuz bu ödüller bizi araştırma,
inovasyon ve iletişim çalışmalarımıza daha tutkulu ve
daha fazla sorumluluk alarak devam etme yönünde
cesaretlendiriyor. Hem Abdi İbrahim hem Türk tıbbı adına
aldığımız ödüllerden dolayı mutluluk duyuyoruz.”
