A word from the Principal...
Dear families,
Thank you so much to those who attended our recent Groundforce Day. Our outside area is a really
important part of our provision and is now looking really great. Mr Richards spends a huge amount
of hours improving our outdoor provision and is hoping that we can run more regular Groundforce
Days in the future.
I would like to congratulate our new Head Pupils who were awarded their positions this week. The
role will include showing visitors around the school, contributing to the newsletter, being the public
face of Ludgvan and setting a great example to our other pupils. Sophie and Bella are our Head
Pupils and they will be ably support by our Deputy Head Pupils, Harry and Ilani.
We had our first visit from our Education Welfare Officer this week who works with us on attendance.
I am delighted that our attendance so far this term is 95.5%, which is above the current
national average, but still just short of our pre-pandemic levels of 96%-97%. Thank you for working
hard so hard with your children to ensure good attendance and be reminded that I am unable
to authorise any holidays in term time. We do have a few children who are not arriving before 0900
which not only means they miss the beginning of their learning, but also provides a really unsettled
start to their school day.
Kind regards,
Mr Adam Anderson
Principal
