Oceanside <strong>GSFE</strong> Chapter Quarterly News Oct-Dec 2022<br />
Caroline Sterling was our October speaker. She shared her secret to creating our own “Genius<br />
Phase TM. She had us go all the way back to some of our earliest memories and experiences as<br />
children and break them down to see how they influenced our career choices today. It was a<br />
powerful exercise to see how we can use those experiences to attract others to our business.<br />
In November, Nanciann Horvath, Improv For Health, shared the importance of improvisation<br />
and living in the moment. She gave us daily reminders to embrace.<br />
1. Use “Yes, and…” every day<br />
2. Embrace the unexpected<br />
3. Learn to see the humor in all situations<br />
4. Listen actively<br />
5. take risks (mistakes & even failures are ok)<br />
