the next stage. It is my hope to inspire others and let them know that we can do as much as we
push to do. I pushed myself and loved when my Physical Therapy Doctor did the same.
"SAFARI" KAY TROTMAN
Destined To Travel, LLC
Trips, books, interviews! It’s been a busy, exciting, and exceptionally, productive November and
December. These past two months I completed a chapter in The Impact of One Voice, a project
coordinated by the Master Speaker, Arvee Robinson.
I also did several interviews online and in person, among them, Joy Ruffen, profiling Legacy Leaders
and my contribution to leaving my own legacy, Laurie Davis, who explored the many benefits of
travel to Africa. And in between, I led three groups to Tanzania…. and…. am currently on the final
trip of the year to celebrate the coming of the new year 2023.
These were just sampling my most noteworthy accomplishments. There is so much more to
come: a detailed story of how I started my business, a book in the works covering fifteen years of
African knowledge, a course, and children’s stories about Africa - All of this is a work in progress
that will take some time, but it’s coming, all to complete a rewarding, fulfilling and memorable
legacy!
Rewarding, fulfilling, and memorable!
KINDNESS DAY AWARDS WINNERS
2022 Kindness Day Award Winners for the South Inland Empire were amazing contributors to the
progress of our network.
▪Katherine Orho
▪Susan Vanderburgh
▪Yoshie Guadagno
▪Safari Kay Trotman
Katherine Orho and Susan Vanderburgh were both chosen for their leadership and partnership
working together to get each meeting going successfully. In the Co-Director position, Susan helped
with tech issues during meetings, took over hosting duties when needed, and helped with recruiting
efforts. As Director of the South Inland Empire network, Katherine has brought a new look & name
to this network with a focus on team networking, team training, and team collaboration amongst
network members with the hope of her members getting to know one another better.
Yoshie Guadagno is the newest member of the SIE network, and she came in from the start with a
heart of cooperation and helpfulness. She trusted the process and gave it whenever she could. That
is a special and kind heart who can step into a new organization and do that. Kay Trotman has a
cooperative spirit no matter the time or place. From halfway around the world, she will submit
write-ups and do interviews, collaborations, and donations. Anything to help our network grow
these ladies have been wondering about doing. And their kind hearts are very much appreciated.
