A few years ago, I thought I was
doing great because I had decided
to become a vegetarian. I kept that
up for a decade, too. In that decade,
people also suddenly appeared who
were apparently even more awesome,
and it was all so new: the vegans.
If I‘m honest, I smiled at them
a bit at the beginning and then had
to realize that this way of life is not
a marginal phenomenon. For me it
was out of the question, I just loved
eggs, cream and so one too much.
What vegetarians and vegans have
in common is the physical well-being
of living beings. After ten years I
found myself back in a normal life,
but an awareness of animal products
and how they are produced
remained.
